Goodreads summary: The time has come for one winner to be crowned.
When she was chosen to compete in the Selection, America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown—or to Prince Maxon's heart. But as the end of the competition approaches, and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, America realizes just how much she stands to lose—and how hard she'll have to fight for the future she wants.

My feelings toward this book is a lot different than the first two. America is still not the most likable character to me but I liked her a whole lot better in this one. The writing was better with this story and I actually didn't want to throw the book across the room.
I wished that the whole idea with the rebels were a bit more detailed and drawn out especially towards the end. I felt the ending was rushed a bit but I did like the way it ended with Maxon and America. I liked that Aspen got his happily ever after as well. He really deserved it.
I liked that the girls had a heart to heart moment and we each saw where everyone was coming from even though it was kind of predictable. I was thrown for a loop though. For the sake of spoilers I am not going to mention because there may be a select few like I was that did not read this series and I don't want to spoil it. Just know that I might have shed a tear or two.
The author is a good writer but her characters are obnoxious. I don't think I will read the Heir and The Crown but we will see.
