Goodreads Summary: Sometimes life leaves a mark…
Most days, Andrea doesn’t know whether she wants to kiss Tanner or punch him in the gut. He is seriously hot, with legit bedroom eyes and that firefighter body of his, but he’s a major player, and they can’t get along for more than a handful of minutes. Until now.
Tanner knows he and Andrea have had an epic love/hate relationship for as long as he can remember, but he wants more love than hate from her. He wants her. Now. Tomorrow. But the more he gets to know her, the more it becomes obvious that Andrea has a problem. She’s teetering on the edge and every time he tries to catch her, she slips through his fingers.
Andrea’s life is spiraling out of control, and it doesn’t matter that Tanner wants to save her, because when everything falls apart and she’s speeding toward rock bottom, only she can save herself.
Sometimes life makes you work for that happily ever after…

I was really excited to read this story of the Frigid series. I am already a huge fan of this author and I basically love anything that she writes.
In this installment it is about Andrea and Tanner. Of course our other favorite couple makes appearances as well (Kyler and Syd). From what I knew from the first book was that Andrea and Tanner do not get along at all. They constantly bicker and argue with each other and it sometimes makes a strain on their relationship with their two best friends Kyler and Syd.
Wanting to change the atmosphere and have a getaway Kyler and Sydney invite Tanner and Andrea to a week long vacation. At first Andrea and Tanner have their usual bicker and snobby insults but as the story progress the two realize that in actuality they care for each other deeply. They spend more one on one time with each other which is thanks to their best friends. Their whole relationship takes a different turn for the better.
I really like how the author wrote in matters of the subject of drinking and drunk driving. The subject is very heavy and having someone close by to help even if that means getting professional help is whats important.
The story proves that when you are surrounded by people that love you and are there for you in hard times to keep them close. Even when you feel like you are alone you are not.
I loved reading this story and I may have cried a bit too but that's because I am helpless romantic.
